I have been itching…itching to update a few things in my kitchen – mostly to update a brass light fixture that hangs over my table. The light fixture in my kitchen is not quite the same, but I knew I could spray paint the brass on mine white to start giving my kitchen the light and airy feel I am after.
This bathroom will eventually be a gut job once we save all of our pennies, but I was tired of living with it in its current state and since a seamless surround is not in my near foreseeable future I figured I would give this a shot. Luckily, it wipes up pretty easily on the tile…the grout…
This is a simple spray paint transformation to the light that hangs above my kitchen table. I like the warmth of gold over silver, bronze, or black, but a muted gold – not shiny anymore.
I want to add more white with color pops and less black to the room. They were green when I bought them, then I glazed them yellow – then I sprayed them black about 6 years ago.
Have you ever thought about spray painting your picture frames? I used my finger nail or for my stubborn areas my butter knife.
If you have a straight edge paint scraper, please use that instead! They are all on my Instagram stories that I didn’t save.
